Where is home?
London – I was born there and still live in the city.
Which is your favourite destination?
Again, London – it’s such an exciting city, so inspiring and, importantly, so cosmopolitan.
Name a place that most lived up to the hype prior to your visit…
Tahiti. You wonder if it can possibly be as beautiful as the photos you see online; I can confirm that it is.
What’s your favourite city?
New York is an incredible city for a whole host of reasons, but personally I have so many fond memories of filming there. It’s a great place to work.
Describe your favourite view
For me, it’s looking at London from a boat on the Thames. You get to see the Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s… Taking in all those monuments from the river is magical.
What’s the best hotel you’ve ever stayed in?
San Clemente Palace Kempinski in Venice. It’s not only a beautiful hotel on a small, quiet island but it also has amazing views across the water.
Best thing you’ve learnt on a trip?
After school, I did a gap year at a Tibetan monastery in India, teaching English to the monks. They taught me so much about humanity, and the sense of humour you need to live a full life.
What’s the best dish you’ve eaten on your travels?
Anything at Yalla Yalla, which is a fantastic Lebanese restaurant in London’s Soho. And I’m huge fan of Italian food in general.
I always pack…
I love books stores and will usually pack my latest purchase to read.
My best-kept travel secret is…
After a wedding in Croatia, we wanted to make a holiday of it and found this beautiful little island called Korcula.
When I’m in the mood to paint the town red, I hit…
My favourite travel pastime is…
My tastes are pretty varied: I’m as happy lying on a beach in the Seychelles doing nothing as I am skiing in Switzerland.
