Since when did fashion bloggers actually design stuff? Well, since forever, it turns out: as far back as 2011, H&M enlisted Swedish style blogger Elin Kling to co-produce a capsule collection. Result: instant sell-out. There’s been a string of high-profile tie-ups since. Most have been in womenswear; but here’s one for the men: behold, London boutique-luggage brand Bennett Winch’s canvas two-piece suit-carrier that ingeniously wraps a suit bag around a cylindrical holdall. The design was devised with menswear site Permanent Style. Result? Instant sell-out – twice, in fact. “Demand has been considerably higher than expected,” says BW. Even so, the bags are back online this month. And, even at $800, selling fast.
